Podsafe Music Network
Had my first visit to The Podsafe Music Network today. It will be a great resource for podcasters to find podsafe music. Don’t forget there are other places as well to find podsafe music.
Here is a link to Dave’s Imaginary Sound Space with an extensive list of podsafe resources!!!
Oh, and you can’t forget AMP, Association for Music Podcasting, which definately has some of the best podsafe music shows.
30% off coupon at borders
Hey, I hardly ever pimp coupons or online deals, but this is one of the best i’ve seen. Border’s has a 30% coupon. I used to buy a lot of tech books as I liked reading on paper much more than reading on a screen. So go to borders, buy a book and go sit under a a big willow tree to read. Sometimes you have to get away from the tech.
Eric Rice’s Microphone
looks very phallic. It’s big and it’s black! oops, this is a family show.

Linux Trounces Windows Mobile
Robert Scoble better look at this. Looks like linux is outshipping Windows Mobile for smartphones according to Gartner. Linux phones up 412% with 14% of the market and windows Mobile up 50% with 4.5% of the market. Hmm, makes you wonder what all the hype about windows mobile is about. Looks like a lot of manufacters have decided what is better/cheaper for them.
“Of the 180 million mobile terminals shipped in Q1 2005, Gartner says 8.4 million were “smart phones”—devices with complex operating systems such as Linux, Symbian, Palm OS or Windows Mobile. In other words, about 1.2 million Linux smart phones shipped in Q1 2005, along with just under 400,000 Windows Mobile devices.”

Silent Bob Speaks
I’m not a fan of Celebrity blogs, but Silent Bob Speaks is very refreshing as Kevin Smith talks about his days on a movie set and gives you a bit of insight into his life. This blog is definately staying in my RSS reader. The blog is updated very frequently and he usually does a post a day about what happened during the day. Sometimes he get’s behind, and posts 10 entries at once. Give it a look, even if you don’t enjoy Kevin Smith movies, you will almost definately enjoy his blog/diary.
