Free Skypeout Calls

I’m sure most of you have seen this already but for those of you that haven’t. Here you go.

800 numbers are free with skype, so you call 1800free411 and search for a number and then you can have them automatically connect you. This sounds like a great way to make free calls with any number such as your POTS service. Pots=Plain Old Telephone Service.

Busyness Supercedes Blogginess

Well i’ve been swamped with this thing they call life leading me to neglect the blog a bit lately. Well some of you may think Blogging=Life. Cough, scoble, Cough. I really don’t have anything else to say at this point today, but I can imagine I will have more to say later as I run through my aggregator and don’t really plan on getting up from my computer chair very often today. Which reminds me, I desperately need a new computer chair. Hmm, a topic for a post later 🙂

Help Tod and Kim Maffin

Help Tod and Kim Maffin raise money for Multiple Sclerosis Research, their goal is $2000.00, not sure if that’s canadian or U.S. i’d imagine Canadian as Tod and Kim are Canadian.

Kim has been diagnosed with MS and luckily it’s not as severe as some people but there are many others out there that aren’t as lucky.

A bit about me recent dealings with MS. Over the past 3 months my wife has been going through Neurological Testing for MS and other Neurological problems and is currently going to the MS institute at Rush University Hospital for hopefully some sort of diagnosis. I won’t go into the boring details of her symptoms/treatment, but just want to let you know I personally support Tod and Kim’s cause!!! and anybody else that helps raise money for these diseases.

So please, I ask you to give what you can give, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $1000 🙂 I know I’m a wishful thinker, that’s the optimist in me.

Another Reason Microsoft Sucks

I had been dealing with a Microsoft MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) problem on my iRiver T30 Plays4sure device on my laptop. It worked in multiple machines but not my laptop and has been a big pain in my arse!!! And of course searching through Microsoft’s support site is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
