I purchased the Belkin Bluetooth Music Receiver F8Z492-P so I could play my iPhone through my stereo wirelessly. I was very disapointed with the range of the bluetooth on the device (10-15ft) and did this simple hack to double it’s range. Now I am getting 30-40ft in range out of this little device by just removing a metal weight that sit’s inside of the bottom of the device. Â Enjoy!
Last night Chicago received it’s first snow of the season. This morning I broke out the snow blower to fire it up and see if it actually still worked. There is nothing worse than your snowblower not working the first snow day of the year. Luckily for me my snow blower fired right up on the first try.
If you have never been through a brutal Chicago winter, they can be quite miserable. It seems as though a dark grey cloud moves over Chicago starting in November and doesn’t dissipate until the end of March.  The only thing that seems to make these cold depressing days in Chicago better is the snow that we get. A lot of people seem to complain about the snow. I call bullshit. What’s a little in-convenience of having to drive a little slower or the extra chore of shoveling when you have the cold grayness beautified with a layer of the white fluffy stuff.  Plus look at the added benefits of making children and adults who still act like children (like me) happy.
Have you ever seen how happy a child is sledding down a hill or building a snowman?  Have you ever seen how excited I get when I see the first few flakes fall out of the sky?  No? If  you get a chance, do it, you will not be disappointed.  I wouldn’t trade the feeling I get when it snows for the world.  I LOVE SNOW!!!
It’s been a long long while since i’ve blogged with any consistency.  Starting today that is changing.  I have a thousand ideas in my head at any given time and I need to share them. I have been so wrapped up in working on Edmodo that I haven’t taken the time to write here.  No matter how busy we get we need to step back and take some moments.  This is one of those moments  I have a goal: post here at least once a week,  anything more will be a bonus.  My posting will be about anything I am thinking, doing or have done.  You will be hearing a lot more around here 🙂
Do not remove by order of the fire marshall. You can always get my full size images on my flickr account.
